Auf der heutigen Pressekonferenz mit Steve Ballmer hat Microsoft den lang erwarteten Nachfolger von Microsoft Office 2010, Office 365 Home Premium präsentiert. Office 365 Home Premium wird nur unter Windows 7 und Windows 8 lauffähig sein, bietet dafür aber viele neue Möglichkeiten wie zum Beispiel eine erweiterte Cloud Unterstützung.
Fans des Windows Live Writer können hingegen direkt aus Word 2013 bloggen. Dies ging zwar schon unter Word 2010 wurde aber allem Anschein im neuen Word nochmal komplett überarbeitet.
Once we set up Word to publish a blog post to our LiveSide WordPress installation, we’re up and running, and are actually composing this blog post in Word 2013. Of course this doesn’t bode well for the future of Windows Live Writer, but if this works well, will it matter? We’re still working out the fine points of getting our images to align correctly, but first impressions are that Word 2013 is fast (including a very fast upload), easy to use, and looks to be quite a credible blog creation tool. Interesting!
